This is an example of a piece of persuasive writing I completed in term 3. I am most proud of my hook and I still need to work on putting in descriptive words.

Hello, my name is Zoe I go to Westland high school and I’m a year 7 student. I have a younger brother, 3 cats, 1 dog, 2 cows, 4 sheep, 8 chickens, and 1 rooster.In school I like to do P.E because I do different things and its fun, Cooking because I can learn how to cook new things and I get to eat the food after, and art because I can put my own designs onto things. I’m good at netball and my favorite position in netball is GD. Some goals for this year are to become more confident and to get better at maths. I like to ride my 4 wheeler, run around in the paddocks, and bake/cook things.I am looking forward to seeing my friends from Kaniere school at Westland High next year and becoming friends with more people.
